This trail is inside Cherokee Park. On this adventure, you will travel through open fields and wooded forest. Along the way, you will pass by Nettelroth Memorial Bird Sanctuary. Sections of the trail follow Beargrass Creek.Do not use the trail if it is muddy. Part of the trail is shared with mountain bikers.The Scenic Loop is a paved path that is also available. It is also used by vehicles but has designated lanes.
