Hurricane Creek Recreation Area is situated along the eastern shoreline of Lake Barkley, a 58,000-acre reservoir in southwestern Kentucky. The campground features 51 sites for tent, trailer, and RV camping (max equipment length 40 feet). The sites are equipped with electric hookups, water, picnic tables, and fire pits. There are a handful of walk-to tent sites that do not have hookups. Additional amenities include restrooms with flush toilets and showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, boat ramp, and playground. The nightly rates range between $12-$30 depending on site selected. The campsites can be reserved but must be made at least 2 days ahead of arrival.
