This tour starts near Hickman in western Kentucky, along the Mississippi River. It makes its way east to the south shores of the Ohio River in northeastern Kentucky. On this adventure, you will cross over the Tennessee & Cumberland River. There are sections of the road that will have you right next to the Ohio River. This is a very rural route and you will likely have the road to yourself a majority of the time. You will find the road flat until you reach the last 5 miles before your turn around point. You can turn around before reaching Carrsville to avoid the steep climb. There are no services along the way so be sure to plan ahead.
