Your journey starts in Shelbyville and takes you to Jeptha Knob. Jeptha Knob is a crypto-volcano that reaches 1,188 feet and can be seen from several miles away. There are a few steep grades along the way, the steepest being on Jeptha Knob Road. Once your reach the dirt road, you can walk up near the radio tower. This view, from Jeptha Knob, offers some nice views to the north. You will travel on three busy roads. Two of them offer wide shoulders. US 60 is the only road that doesn't have as wide of a shoulder.
