This trail follows sections of several trail loops to make one large loop: Little Beech Creek, Salt River Vista and Possum Ridge Loop Trail. You will walk along the lakeshore, and have several overlook opportunities as you travel on ridge tops including Possum Ridge. This is a common area to see several species of birds. There are 16 miles of trails within Taylorsville Lake State Park. This area can be very hot in the summer and it is recommended to hike in the spring and fall. This trail is also used by mountain bikers and equestrians.
