There are a lot of wildlife viewing opportunities on this trail. Some of the animals you may see include: deer, coyote, fox, shorebirds, and turtles. Along the way, you will come by a restored fire tower from 1960, that offers a great aerial view of the park. During the leafless months, you can see all of the way to the Green River from the platform. On the trail, you will cross Yellow Creek by using two covered bridges. This trail is also known as the Blue Trail. There are 4 miles of hiking trails in Yellow Creek Park. If you are looking to extend your adventure, you can add on some of the other hikes in the area.
