This paved bike pathway is located in the heart of New Orleans and runs parallel to Bayou St. John, just east of the New Orleans City Park. The trail can be ridden as a short, easy ride by itself or added to other roads or trails in the area as part of a longer ride. The views along the pathway include mostly residential development, the bayou, and lots of open green space. The trail is very flat and easy to follow making it a great choice for beginner riders.
