This scenic ride starts from the city of Belfast and explores rural countryside of Waldo County, traveling through multiple open valleys and along the high ridges between Brooks and Knox Center. The terrain does offers some impressive scenery from high vantage points, but this is the result of some challenging hilly terrain so only experienced riders should set out to complete the entire ride. There are some winding roads and a short section of unpaved road along Appleton Ridge.
