This paddling route starts from the launch at South Blue Hill and crosses the channel over to the privately owned Long Island. Paddling around the Long Island results in a scenic all-day trip around a large undeveloped island. Making the trip from the launch over to the island during windy and choppy conditions can be challenging so pay attention to conditions before setting out.
