Gambrill State Park has over 16 miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. All trails begin at the Trailhead Parking Lot. This trail features great views of Middletown and Frederick. The paths are rocky and steep in some sections. You will hike along the mountain ridge allowing for intermittent views along the way, drop down into the valley to explore the deeper forest, and reach another ridge for a stunning view of Frederick.
