The Gwynns Falls Trail generally follows the Gwynns Falls stream to the Middle Branch and the Inner Harbor of the Patapsco River. It consists of a fifteen mile trail system that is open to hiking and biking and provides access to a very scenic and historic greenway stream valley in Baltimore City. The section of the trail passes several residential neighborhoods and through many small parks, crossing bridges and running through tunnels to finally reach Middle Branch Park at Smiths Cove on the Chesapeake Bay. There are especially stunning views all along the trail that include beautiful scenery, historic sites, cityscapes, and bridges and water.
