Located in Hashawha Environmental Appreciation Area, this is a great hike through beautiful deep woods. In fall the foliage is stunning. There are views of Pars Ridge, the principal geologic feature of Carroll County, and passages through open meadows and cultivated fields. Watch for blue herons and other waterfowl from the boardwalk across tiny Lake Hashawha.
