Herrington Manor State Park is located within the Garrett State Forest and features a 53-acre lake and ten cabins which are available for renting all year round. Many outdoor recreational opportunities are provided year-round as well as interpretive programs that are scheduled during summer. This hike begins at Lake Herrington and makes a short loop through the beautiful forest with great scenery. There is one short steep hill upward and a slow and gradual descent.
