Rocks State Park is located in Deer Creek Valley only a one-hour drive from Baltimore. The park has three noncontiguous sections in the valley. The Hidden Valley section is an undeveloped area along the banks of the Deer Creek. This hike features a hike to a forested ridge overlooking the valley and the creek and has great views. After hiking atop the ridge you will drop down into the valley and hike along the river bank with great solitude.
