This trail is located in Rock Creek State Park, a popular place for many outdoor activities including, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and trail running. This particular route will circle both Lake Needwood and Lake Frank, as well as venturing out a bit farther into the forest and rolling hills. For the most part, the trails are wide and sturdy with very little obstacles. The hills will create somewhat of a challenge as they are relatively steep and length. The trail provides great views of the lakes, and a few stream crossings.
