Lake Roland is located within Baltimore’s city limits and is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. This hike is located in the Robert E. Lee Memorial Park, one of Baltimore’s best locations for birding with a diversity of habitats including mature upland forest, brushy coverts, riparian forest, serpentine grasslands, swamps, and open marsh. Beautiful foliage fills the park in fall and gorgeous views over the lake make this a peaceful get-away from the urban bustle.
