This hike is located in Gunpowder Falls State Park, one of Maryland’s largest and most dispersed, for it consists of about 17,000 acres of river valley and adjacent uplands spread all over northern and eastern Baltimore County, from tide water to the Pennsylvania border. The Little Gunpowder Trail traverses the Little Gunpowder River and extends from Harford Road to I-95. This is a shorter section of the trail featuring beautiful forest filled with tall trees and lots of wildflowers. Great river views are provided throughout.
