The Ma & Pa Heritage Trail is located on portions of the former Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad corridor in Bel Air and Forest Hill. The trail winds into wooded, moderately sloped sections, through a tunnel beneath Route 24 and alongside North Tollgate Road to its northern point. From the trail you can enjoy an overlook view of the Harford County Equestrian Center and the surrounding countryside, and beautiful trees, babbling brooks, and an enchanting marsh teeming with wildlife.
