This is a short trail through the Magruder Branch Stream Valley Park that is full of wildlife, especially squirrels. Beginning in Damascus Regional Park, the trail dives down into the stream valley and follows a path that consists of asphalt, gravel, and boardwalks over the wetlands. At the trailhead there are several nice playgrounds and ball fields, but there are no playgrounds along the path and there is not water available here either. The fall displays especially beautiful foliage and in the early morning you may spot a deer getting a drink at the river. There are several walkers and often strollers on the path so please be courteous.
