This trail is located in Garrett County and is a beautiful scenic hike through a deciduous forest. You will hike from Frank Brenneman Road up to a hill and hike along a ridge for a short distance with great views of the forest and hills to the east. The area here is known as a “frost pocket”, an area where the surrounding hills capture moisture and cold air that conspire to create a landscape more reminiscent of the habitat found much further north in Canada.
