This hike is located in Gunpowder Falls State Park, one of Maryland’s largest and most dispersed parks as it consists of about 17,000 acres of river valley and adjacent uplands spread all over northern and eastern Baltimore County, from tide water to the Pennsylvania border. On this route, you will hike along the Big Gunpowder River’s bank until you reach side stream where the beautiful Raven Rock Falls are found. The trail is surrounded by thick forest and has great views of the river throughout.
