Rocks State Park is located in Deer Creek Valley only a one-hour drive from Baltimore. The park has three noncontiguous sections in the valley. The Rocks Ridge section is home to the park headquarters and King and Queen’s Seat rock formation, a 190 foot rock outcropping that towers above the banks of Deer Creek. This hike features this majestic rock formation with dramatic vistas as well as beautiful forest scenery, great hills, and other views over the Deer Creek River.
