Sligo Creek Park is one of the many stream valley parks in central Maryland and has the greatest density of playgrounds per mile of any path in the Northern Hampshire, making this a perfect ride for the whole family. There are not many attractions along this trail but it is a very pretty ride and a great place for beginning cyclists as there is not motorized traffic except for occasional street crossings. There are many access points to the trail and it is possible to make the ride longer or shorter.
