This loop trail is part of the Fishing Bay Wildlife Management Area and meanders through tidal marshlands with a few dispersed islands of loblolly pine. This area also hosts a great deal of wildlife, including raptors, migratory shore birds and other waterfowl, and a variety of mammals. You will pass by Chance Island and Guinea Isla, two of the largest wooded islands in Fishing Bay WMA, find several guts or creeks that branch off the path and are great for exploring, and find deep serenity in the quiet water.
