This hike is located in the Catoctin Mountain National Park and features two majestic rock structures, Wolf Rock and Chimney Rock. Beginning at the Visitor’s Center, you will hike through a thick mature forest and reach an overlook at Thurmont Vista providing great views of the town of Thurmont. As you continue hiking along the ridge and into the valley you will reach Wolf Rock and eventually Chimney Rock, both named for their shape. You will pass the Park Headquarters before ending this trip.
