Located in the Hiawatha National Forest, this 190-acre lake offers excellent scenery and great recreational opportunity. The lake is known for its nice clear water and sandy beaches. There are also lots of nice campsites including some right on the beach ideal for launching small non-motorized watercraft. The lake is surrounded by mostly wooded terrain that is home to lots of wildlife. The lake also provides great fishing and lots of opportunity for hiking on multiple trails in the area. The lakes does have a developed boat launch with parking.
