On this ride, you will notice the variety of beautiful plants that grow along the trail. You will travel by Crystal Springs, through a tunnel built by the Civilian Conversation Corp way back in the 1930s and past a small cemetery. The trail is steep in some places and increases in elevation as you go. There are 2 other optional trailheads. One is in the middle of the trail on Guy Park Drive and the other at the campgrounds on the southwest end of the trail.
