This trail takes in downtown St. Louis. You will start off in St. Louis and go past the Gateway Arch and travel on the Gateway Arch Trail before heading east. You will travel through east St. Louis and then make your way into Illinois going through industrial areas and open farmland. Most parking in the area is metered parking or pay lots.
