This slow-moving river offers some nice views of the vistas and is less busy than some other nearby rivers. This section and the sections below Cleawater Lake tend to run slower and are less clear than the rivers above the lake, but still a good section to run. The put-in is at the Markham Springs Recreation Area concrete ramp, and the take-out is at the Hendrickson Access.
