This trail goes around one of the six lakes in Wakonda State Park. The lakes attract thousands of migratory waterfowl each year. This makes it a very popular area for birdwatchers. Eastern bluebirds, Baltimore orioles and other waterfowl are seen here. The trail is relatively flat and follows most of the lake.
