This oxbow lake is 365 acres. The lake is popular for canoeing, boating and fishing. It is also called Sugar Lake and was discovered by William Clark and said it was full of goslings. This lake is still popular for migrating birds. You can see great blue herons, snowy egrets, geese, and many types of ducks. The shallow areas of the lake make fertile fish grounds for bass, bluegill, channel catfish, carp, buffalo and more.
