This adventure starts at the Sappington Bridge Access and ends at the Meramec Caverns and LaJolla Springs Access. This is a nice place to end as there are picnic areas and tours available to view the cave. There are nice views of the bluffs. Along the way, you will also pass by Meramec State Park if you wish to stop for a break. The difficulty is mainly class I but can sometimes be class II. The river can run low in hot summer months and during extended periods of drought. It is best to check the levels before you go.
