This is the last section of the river that you can paddle before entering the Mississippi River. This paddle starts at the Pelican Island Access point and ends at the Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. The Mississippi River is 3.5 miles past the conservation area. This is a great area to watch for birds. This area is a very popular for paddlers and outdoor enthusiasts.
