This is Montana’s largest body of water with a maximum depth of 220 ft. and 1,520 miles of shoreline. Winds can pick up and make vicious waves. This access point and marina is closest to the amazing dam. Most of the terrain consists of grassy hills, bluffs and buttes. The lake is nearly treeless. Fishing is popular with a variety of species.
