As part of the Bozeman Pass climbing area crags, Uff Da Wall formation is located just west of the popular “Fat Man Wall” and consists of two faces. The east face is the Uff Da Wall and the west face is known as “Recess Wall”. Approach the Uff Da Formation from the designated parking area on Chestnut Road off of I-90. After reaching the crags from the parking area continue on the main trail passing the cutoff trail for Fat Man Wall on the right, continue hiking for another sixty feet and look to your left. Follow a faint trail to the wall. Although not the most popular wall in the area, the routes here offer challenging climbs and are never crowded.
