Memphis Lake is positioned about the midway point between the cities of Lincoln and Omaha. There's plenty of recreational space, both on and off the water. If paddling the shoreline, one side is long, allowing for straightway travel, the other side being more round in shape. A lone island is situated in the center of the lake that one could beach. Only non-powered vessels or those with outboard electric motors are allowed on the water. Note that a state park permit is required for entry.
