A dam constructed to block the Snake River and irrigate Nebraska's vast agriculture, the Merritt Reservoir covers 2,906 acres of northern rural landscape. Users can recreate by boating, camping, or fishing. There is also a shuttle option if one has two vehicles. Note that a state park permit is required for entry.
