Located near Omaha, this lake is one of six small lakes (available for boating) that neighbor one another. If desired, one could paddle all six in one day. The lakes do not have designated entry points for water crafts, so access may vary depending on current conditions, and a short walk may also be required. Only non-powered vessels or those with outboard electric motors are allowed on the water. The area offers other outdoor recreation such as a swimming beach on Lake #4, camping, picnicking, and fishing. One can even rent out an old Union Pacific Railroad caboose that was refurbished for lodging on the premises. Note that a state park permit is required for entry.
