Located on the western edge of Tennessee, Fort Pillow State Historic park is full of history. Originally built by Confederate troops in 1861, it became a state park in 1971. This trail explores the grounds related to the battle of Fort Pillow. It is well-maintained and easy to follow with historical Civil War markers.
