Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of America’s most visited national parks. It offers endless opportunities for exploring natural and cultural history. These ancient mountains are filled with a variety of plant and animal life. Grotto Falls is a 25 ft. waterfall that you can walk behind. The route to reach the falls follows the Trillium Gap Trail along a wide and easy to follow path. You will cross a few streams and the area is always wet and slick, so bring appropriate footwear. During May the wildflowers are awesome.
