Trail Running

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of America’s most visited national parks. It offers endless opportunities for exploring natural and cultural history. These ancient mountains are filled with a variety of plant and animal life. This hike is a fun route and simple route with lots of water for playing in and cooling off. There are creek crossings that will be difficult after rainstorms. Wildflowers and foliage make for pleasant scenery.

just hiked this trail today. water was low so Creek crossing wasn't as bad as back in April. Meigs Creek Falls was amazing as usual. However, the remainder of the trail wasn't that scenic. Creek crossing over a dozen times was probably my favorite part but not much real photo opportunities aside from The Sinks or Meigs Creek Falls. I have heard during the right time, this makes for an excellent wild flower hike and I would definitely go back for that, but not for anything else.
