North River Campground is a primitive and quiet campground located in Cherokee National Forest. They have 11 campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. 2 of the sites are side-by-side, (sites 5 and 6) making it perfect for two families. This can be a popular campground during peak season but and sites are first come, first serve so plan ahead. This is bear country so all food must be stored in containers or locked in you vehicle. The nightly fee is $8 per night.
