Chisos Basin Campground is one of the most popular camping destination in Big Bend National Park and offers scenic and rugged camping high in the Chisos Mountains. The campground offers 60 individual campsites that can accommodate tents and RVs up to 24 feet in length. The sites are each equipped with picnic tables and grills. Other campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, grills, food storage lockers, and dump station. There are only 26 sites that can be reserved in advance. The remainder are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is also a group campground located a short distance away.
