Known as the Grand Canyon of Texas, Palo Duro Canyon is the second largest canyon in the country and offers amazing scenery and abundant opportunity for outdoor recreation. The park offers over 30 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The state park also offers a variety of camping areas for overnight visitors. The Cow Camp Cabin area consists of 4 limited-service cabin sites that can accommodate 4 people each. They are equipped beds, water, A/C, electricity, lighting, refrigerator, and microwaves. There are also restrooms with showers close by. The cabins are $60 per night and can be reserved online. No pets are allowed in cabins.
