One of a set of several trails explores the Palo Duro Canyon area this trail visits Red Star Ridge, the Long Skirts, and Petite Teton. This trail moves along the floor the Canyon occasionally going up and over small hills, but not climbing to the tops of the canyon walls. Be sure bring your camera, as this is one of the most photogenic natural sites in northern Texas, and you won't want to forget these breathtaking sights. Also be sure to pack water and sunscreen, particularly during the summer.
