This paddle trail covers just over 4 miles of the Guadalupe River. There are a few occasional sandbars to watch out for that can provide resting spots or areas for viewing birds and other diverse wildlife. This section of the river also provides good opportunity for fishing. It is recommended to call ahead for water level information as this can effect current trail conditions.

The trail has now expanded. I just did this yesterday and put in on FM 447 North of Victoria. Paddling from there it was just under 18 miles to the pump house at the city park. They have a very nice dock there that you can take out from. It is a rather easy panel but nice because there are some swift current and a few small ripples in the river.
