Lake Albemarle has an undeveloped shoreline, with plenteous fishing and birds. It is a calm and serene place for a day of canoeing. There is a boat ramp off Rt. 675. The lake has shoreline access at different spots. You will find access to the dam also. Swimming, sailing, wading and trotlines are not permitted. Canoeing and all recration is allowed 1 hour before sunrise until 1 hour after sunset. No motor boats of any kind are allowed on the lake.
