This creekside out-and-back hike slithers through the water-carved valley of Picosin Hollow on the Picosin Hollow Trail. After making several fords of the tiny creek, the path continues straight as it intersects the Picosin Fire Road and moves through mountainous ridges on the Picosin Trail. When the Picosin Trail becomes South River Road, take a left onto the South River Falls Trail and enjoy the majestic beauty of South River Falls before retracing the route back to the parking area.
