At the Rapidan River, you will have several spots where portage might be required. Due to many trees and fences that cross the river, it would be wise to scout the river before embarking on it. This is an easy paddle, not going over a Class II on the rapids. Be ready to portage before the Graves Mill at the 3-foot dam. There are other access locations in between the ones mapped here.
