This is a Wildlife management area, and with that, winter Birdwatching is rich. From spring through fall, you will find watermen storing their crab pots throughout the marsh. The guts along the way can provide hours of exploration. By paddling counterclockwise, you will take advantage of the wind. If you need to take a break, look into the marsh to find a spot. There are a couple of sandy beaches along the way, but they are far apart.
